Children’s Social Worker – BromleySafeguarding and Care PlanningRate: up to £43 per hour We are recruiting for motivated qualified social worker to join our busy team. This role is with one of the UK’s highest performing local authorities, serving as one of the best places to live and work in.
This is a qualified role requiring you to be SWE registered and have relevant experience within childrens services.
Hybrid Working: Since COVID-19 the service have implemented a hybrid working approach. Current Bromley directive is 2 days in office and 3 days WFH. Visits can fall on either WFH or office days.
Caseloads: Between 15 – 20
Expenses: Locums are able to claim back mileage from their place of work to visits (this does not include travel from home to work). The service also have work oyster cards that can be provided.
About the Role and Team: This is a specialist Senior Practitioner role, which includes supporting and managing staff in timely assessing cases for closure, transfer or step down to Early Intervention Services.
Staff within this project team will not be working or overseeing proceedings, PLO cases or even CP. They will be responsible for CIN and taking cases to closure or transfer. We are considered Good with Outstanding leadership by Ofsted and are on a journey of Getting to Excellence. We work to the Bromley Relationship Model of practice and training in ‘BRM’ is delivered by our Principal Social Worker .
