Job Description

Thames Water has an exciting opportunity for a B2B Delivery Lead to be a part of a large-scale transformation project that sits across digital and back office functions. The role offers exposure to multiple business areas, workstreams and commercial partners and gives a chance to inform and drive tangible change in our business.

What you'll be doing as the B2B delivery lead:
You will support the B2B Delivery Manager in this role and be responsible for the workstream for any supporting materials required as part of the new process rollout, including customer comms, and training materials, working with our delivery partners, business SME and wider project team to deliver, and act as the conduit between Developer Services teams and the project team, providing regular updates, clarifying expectations, and seeking feedback. You’ll also manage actions and share decisions that come out of these meetings.
  • Articulate and define future improved processes, so the outcome of the requirements for Salesforce supports all stakeholders in simplifying our people processes enabling improved performance.
  • Customer and Business requirements and solution validation, ensuring they meet the required purpose, align to policies, and are known and understood by the wider Developer Services teams.
  • Test the newly defined processes, share feedback and be on hand to answer queries about the requirements throughout.
  • Responsible for preparing affected business areas for transition to the new way of working, including liaising with our delivery partners to ensure design, development and delivery of training, communications and business readiness.
  • Responsible for managing business input into UAT execution and sign-off.
  • This role is Hybrid – Based at Clearwater Court - RG1 8DB.
  • The hours are 36 hours per week Monday – Friday.
What you should bring to the role:
  • Good understanding of Developer Customer journeys, challenges and D-MeX feedback/insight to support priority decision-making.
  • Previous change management experience with experience in the implementation of customer-focused business change and digital initiatives.
  • Proven ability to analyse data and insights from a variety of sources, and make clear recommendations based on evidence to drive step change in service.
  • Experience in project-related problem-solving and resilience within a complex business environment.
  • Risk management, escalating where appropriate.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including stakeholder management and ability to influence.
  • Excellent planning skills and self-management capabilities.
